WEEK  AT A GLANCE

ANNOUNCEMENTS/REMINDERS-
  • Many assignments are participation based, not showing up to zoom meetings may result in alternative assignments.
  • Even if you attend the Zoom meeting, you need to do the attendance question. This is a warm up and I will take a grade for every 5 assignments.
  • If students get kickoff the zoom, they should try to log back on before giving up and leaving the zoom meeting.
  • I have started putting grades into skyward, please check your students grades. thank you.

MONDAY

  •  A day
  • SAIL students, 6th and 7th grade- Students will get a crash course in spoken word poetry. They will be asked to watch a few examples for next class. Students will be given the "My truths." Assignment. 

TUESDAY

  •  B day
  • 5th and 8th grade- Students will get a crash course in spoken word poetry. They will be asked to watch a few examples for next class. Students will be given the "My truths." Assignment. 

WEDNESDAY

  •  A day
  • SAIL students, 6th and 7th grade- we will share some truths with each other. I will give them a personal example or spoken word. Students will start working on their Spoken word pieces by beginning with a personal narrative. these will be a major grade.

THURSDAY

  •  B day
  • 5th grade and 8th grade- we will share some truths with each other. I will give them a personal example or spoken word. Students will start working on their Spoken word pieces by beginning with a personal narrative. these will be a major grade.

FRIDAY

  •  A day
  • SAIL students, 6th and 7th grade- students need to come to class with a personal narrative ready to go, they will be working in small groups in zoom and sharing their narratives.
